At Smack Mastering, our goal is to offer artists at every stage of development access to professional CD mastering. Mastering is like putting wax on a freshly washed car. Using EQ, multi-band compressors, limiters, and pre-amps; we add tonal balance to your mixes. We will optimize your tracks, giving your recordings clarity, punch, and detail.

Smack Mastering's chief mastering engineer, Matt Bochniak, is an accomplished audio professional. Besides mastering, he has worked in almost every field of audio. Matt's resume includes Network TV (ESPN), Film Post-Production Audio ("Swarm of the Snakehead'), Radio (award winning producer for WBAL-AM & Baltimore Ravens Radio Engineer/Mixer), Produced/Engineered numerious recording/mixing sessions, toured as a sound mixer, and Matt is an adjunct faculty member at Harford Community College.
